It's not just that everyone wants us to lose. Half of the preview things that I've read have predicted Sunderland to win, too. At least with the Wigan game everyone was saying "I want to see Wigan win but City will hammer them." Now the only thing I'm finding myself reading is "City should hammer them but Sunderland will win".

Don't know how to break this to you, fella, but 99% of the world won't be watching. Most football fans don't give a shite about the League Cup. If it was the European Cup Final or something, people might care. Try getting out of that redtop media/Facebook BANTAH! bubble you're in. As a club we're loathed much less than United, or even Chelsea, and there are plenty of people within the media who champion our cause.

Traditionalists will always prefer underdogs to win a Final, would you prefer we were that underdog?

Yep its the Micky Mouse Cup, I mean I wouldnt watch it if City wouldnt be in the final...

So most fans couldnt care less who wins, especially outside of England. In England of course they would laugh a lot if City lost it vs a shit Sunderland but not more then they would laugh if it would be Arsenal, Mu, Chelsea losing the finals being such a clear favourite.

Would I rather be 'lickle ciddy' loved by all and everyone's 2nd favourite team. Where managers complement our neat passing and our never say die attitude but ultimately leads to another gallant defeat. Patronised by the media as a nice friendly club i.e unable to compete against the big boys and gift wrapping 3pts for those sides. OR would I prefer to be hated by the media,despised by most fans and envied by the world in general as we steamroll across all in our path picking up trophy after trophy. Me neither, I was there and heard nothing of the sort! In fact I thought it was just media hype as usual to make big news on eve of Cup final, as for singing songs about Pellegrini we don't do that now let alone in May!
