just finished watching all 5 series, after my brother kept nagging me to watch this stuff......have to say it is one of the best series I have ever seen...stories, characters, layers. setting, dialogue.....acting is A1....if you have not seen it WATCH IT! YOU GOT TO KEEP THE DEVIL DOWN IN THE HOLE!

Best TV Drama in ages, I could really relate with a lot of the characters, it just worked on so many levels. Once I watched the 1st one I had to get the set,I watched nowt else for a week, I was stunned to find out McNulty was a British actor.

Im exactly the same mate-finished it last week after being nagged-top class show! To anyone who starts-bare with it for the first 3 episodes cos there are a lot of characters introduced at once....after 4 episodes you'll be hooked!
