The word deserved has not been more relevant.Came close in so many occasions but the diligence, perseverance and brilliance of the team has finally paid off.

Klose, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, even Podolski from the 2006 originals have been pursuing this for so long and it is only justice that their brilliant careers have a world cup win added to it.

Particular mention and respect to Miroslav Klose!!, what a career.

Well done Argentina for getting this far. The have the best coach in the tournament by far and their defense spear headed by Mascherano turned out to be their biggest strength.There was a lot of pride, individuality and ultimately disarray in the Argentinian offense and for that, Germany deserved it more.

The best team won and that should headline the review of this tournament.
