Time to get your crystal balls out.......(No smutty jokes)

How do you see things in fifty years time?.....not really a long time in the overall scheme of things...

In the UK back in 1964, there was/were:-

No mobile phones, in fact not that many people had a landline.

No Pc's or internet

Black/white TV

Two TV channels (in the UK)..ITV and BBC....(ABC at the weekends)

Most family cars had crossply tyres and drum brakes.

No credit/debit cards

Virtually no very large supermarkets

The list goes on........

I forecast whatever happens there will still be famine and hardship in places like Africa, poverty in the civilised world, in fact thinking about it,there may not even be a world....we might have blown ourselves to oblivion by then.

On that cheery note, over to you..............

Back in 1964 it was OK to touch kids if you were on telly.........

The rags will be ground sharing with Alty.
Nigel Farage will be immortalised in a statue in Bucharest.
Phil Collins will rise from the dead,to lead the world to salvation.

Global warming will make living in mainland Europe like being in the desert.
Thousands of illegal immigrants will seek to enter the UK, making today's numbers seem like a picnic.
Scotland will become the most desirable place to reside in the UK.
All this means that The UK will benefit from a desirable place to work and do business in and the country will benefit from massive financial investment.
Just one scenario.
Alternatively there could be the inevitable nuclear/global war which means that mankind will be living in a nuclear winter wonderland.

Everything will be AWESOME !!!

Eveeything will be OH SO GOOD !!!!

Yes, telling the rags and the mickeys that they've got no "istree".
Sitting in my house in Woodley (I'll be 114 then) watching the sunset over the sea - 200 yards away.
Beer £7.50 a pint.
Petrol £20 a litre - for my outboard motor to get around.

Can't wait!

No. we're looking into the future, not the past..................:)

perhaps in 2064 it will once again be acceptable... it may even feature on a reality show? "paedo watch 2064 - the ant and dec years"

(they will have been cloned by then)...
