It was clear the majority of the players wanted Hughes to stay paticularly the likes of Bellamy, Given, Tevez, Lescott, Bridge and Barry and SWP. TBF barring Bridge and Barry recently the others have been top notch. I just wonder if they are going to WANT to play for Mancini like they did Hughes.

Course they will as they are not children. Unlike many on here.

when Hughes was manager a player would not come out and say 'i think he should be sacked' will he.

And this has been my arguement from day one, and not just that, Mancini or whoever the 'better' manager was going to be, will want his own players, meaning they have to gel. It is a vicious circle with failure written all over it, unfortunatley for us, the fans. Mancini will get more patience from most on here though, as he has no links to united.

Bellamy definitely won't perform as well as he did under Sparky as he has said himself he is THE ONLY manager that has ever been able to get the best out of him. Its a shame. I just hope Mancini proves me wrong and we become a top four side.

I share your concern and they are professionals so will play...but 110%? I think not....can see a few players leaving and new ones in....the merry go around begins....agents laughing..

Mancini is a close friend of Chairman so I hear, I bet players have been discussed.

What I cannot get my head around is why give Hughes all that money then get rid of him....why not get Mancini in at start? Was he available?
