The worst actor on TV/film

Not much being drowned by music.

I also think that in the early days of cinema, a lot of actors learnt their craft on the stage. Voice projection and diction, now actors are picked mainly for their "camera appeal".

I often watch TPTV showing films from the 40's, 50's etc. I can generally hear the spoken words clearly. With modern film and have to use subtitles, it may partly due to my advanced years but I find the actors either mumbling their lines or talking in forced whispers.

Some great Jack Warner films on there. Love that era.

Tom Cruise is fucking shite. Only decent performance was in Rain Man but I imagine Dustin Hoffman wouldn't let him get away with just being a goofy grin.

Only topped by his egregious performance in Far and Away. By far, the worst Irish accent that has ever been on screen.
