I read the book and it sounded like a load of cobblers if i'm honest. Having a baby without actually shagging anyone (turkey baster?), feeding loads of people with only a Swiss army knife and a small lump of cheese and animals getting along with each other in a small wooden boat sounds highly suspicious.
The second book was better though. Loads of good honest killing in that with the odd car chase.
Worst movie? The one with Dudley Moore in it. Pure dross.
