They don't tell you the truth, they just don't tell you any lies, or at least not lies that we care about, for example they reported Mancini's mind game stuff at the end of the season with a poker face, when they knew the real deal and we'll never know via mcfc.co.uk whether we actually put in a bid for VP or not.

The stuff they announce is after the fact, in terms of "hard story" stuff the site is a waste of time, but that's not what it's designed to do. City is strangely isolated for a top club, they don't seem to have any reporters or papers on the favoured list, a "go to" media source for the inside track.
 
Not many other club sites even acknowledge the existence of rumours though. The vast majority are "toe the official club line on everything 100%." Certainly different in that regard to many sites out there.
 
Lets face it they're all shite. They no longer report news, they create stories for attention and internet "hits". It's becoming less difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff as it's all chaff.

The Beano! Most intelligent level headed Brits dont buy, read or believe any of the trash reported in the press. You would think that the Manchester paper would be more credible. No this is worse than the lot since it became part of the mirror group. Best to ignore all speculation until you read it on the offical website!
 
please dont buy any scum papers. they only write lies and rumours. i only trust mcfc.co.uk. Cant believe City fans still buy the Manchester Evening News. Are there any other local papers around the country that constantly try to undermine the local club? The morning papers are worse. Sky text gets its stories from them.!! Twats the lot of em who wish us only harm. Save your money.
 
My advice is to check out <a class="postlink" href="http://www.newsnow.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">www.newsnow.co.uk</a> and then the City section.
This sites scours many news sources and you can see the bullshit headlines on display, but it also links to good pieces of journo that are city related.
You can also "hide" crap like goal.com and "highlight" sources you trust.
Also pay attention to who's writing the story, becoming familiar with who just writes bullshit allows you to avoid wasting time.

BBC Football is also reliable
