Jezza has one and with the Tory Conf due on the 30th I thought it best that the PM should have a thread of her own so we can cast views on her performance. Thought thats a better idea than adding stuff in on the JC thread about her.

We have seen the Corbyn speech that seems to have been welcomed beyond those in the conference hall - such as the CBI's welcome for the ideas.

How do we think May will get on? My predictions are -

1/ speech will be woeful and focused Brexit as thats the thing tearing the Tories apart and on most other items of domestic policy she hasn't had any decent headlines for ages.

2/ It will all be upstaged by Boris. He will make a speech - possibly at a fringe meeting - where he will make further Bannon inspired questionable comments that will turn even more people against him - hut he will harrumph it off ruffle his hair and mutter something about letterboxes and storm off.

3/ It will be a circus when Farage turns up............ which he is bound to do because someone will invite him to do some media work in or around the conference centre or to attend a fringe meeting and the full on loons will come out baying for him to join the Tories ( fearful that instead he will reignite a UKIP surge )

and finally

4/ There probably already is planned a march/ protest by the EDL, BF, EDFL and whatever other groups want to turn up and shout about immigrants - that could be bad enough but if it pans out a certain way tomorrow for a Mr Yaxley-Lennon at the Old Bailey the alphabet soup of far right groups could well go full kristallnacht on the conference centre and have a proper riot. we shall see.

Slightly surprised by the op’s negative view of May and her party but a nicely timed thread nonetheless. Anyhow she was certainly dealt a shitty hand but has managed to show great weakness and ineptitude on a daily basis. Pretty fucking useless is a good enough description.

On points 1-4, I really don’t care. This is why Blair and Cameron did so well. They cottoned onto the fact that the masses care more about how a leader sounds and looks rather than anything to do with policy hence the emergence of spin. I’m sure there’s plenty of working class people still pining for Cameron and Osborne, like wanting someone to tickle your neck and play with your hair while they bend you over and bum you.

"Let me make myself clear" X 24 in her speech.

Even Tory Kueensberg is predicting a funeral atmosphere there.

Is she the worst Prime Minister ever? Quite possibly. Anthony Eden was regarded as a brilliant man before he failed to step up when he became PM. Was May ever objectively regarded as brilliant? She’s dull, indecisive and small minded. She’s also an utter fucking fraud.

May built her reputation on her perceived toughness as Home Sec, got found out during the last election when she flapped during a live press conference.

In other circumstances she could have been held as a John Major like PM. Non offensive and passable. Yet Cameron left her with a giant shitcake called Brexit which fucked her from the start. By trying to keep her party together she's probably damaged the country.
