These “claim for your car finance” schemes?

Seeing ads for this everywhere. I’m owed up to £4000 apparently.

Genuine? Or load of nonsense?

It seems it will be hundreds not thousands ££££££'s at best - but hey still the gullible will have given dara harvesters loads of info to work on or sell - I despair at times

PP was seen in the same light. You should apply but do not go through the claims companies, check scripts like on the Martyn Lewis website.
My mother-in-law dismissed the PP claim but I got her to claim through Barclays and she ended up with over £10k.
What have you got to lose, you might just get something back, even if its only a few hundred, better in your pocket than theirs.

Pleasing to know the legions of subhuman ambulance chasing cunts who defame the legal profession won’t be getting an ill deserved payday out of this nonsense.

Having looked at the reasoning behind this SC judgment I’m struggling to see how the CoA could have concluded that car dealers owed a fiduciary duty to their punters. That seems an absurd notion to me.
As previously being 1 of those subhuman ambulance chasing ..... Can I just say that the amount of people who have been ripped off by insurance companies because they used the government's online claims portal is unbelievable. This is why it's always best to use an ambulance chasing **** as using 1 of them is the lesser of 2 evils. When I worked for the insurance company they were almost jumping for glee when somebody submitted a claim themselves. Basically, saved the insurer thousands every time.
It is over 10 years ago since I worked in the industry but doubt that will have changed

In terms of the point you are making is that insurance companies are cunts, then I wholeheartedly agree.

As to my comment about ambulance chasing cunts being subhuman scum, I stand by that sentiment. Lawyers who operate in that field are unquestionably the most unethical, money driven, couldn’t give a fuck about the client, untrustworthy and bereft of ability in the entire legal profession. The only part of the legal profession that rivals them in that regard is those who specialise in motoring law, although that’s arguably an offshoot of ambulance chasing as it’s essentially the same MO, namely to extract the maximum revenue from each case and not give a fuck about the people they represent.

There may be exceptions but I’m yet to directly encounter anyone who has disabused me of my perception of those who operate in that field.

As to which are the bigger cunts between the two, it’s a tough call but I will say that insurers can sometimes act with integrity so it’s probably the ambulance chasers.

Are they a necessary evil? I think they are, yes, but do I think a certain personality type is attracted to that line of work, as with people who become traffic wardens. It’s an entirely numbers driven and soulless way to earn a living - and some people do very well out of it, but I think they definitely don’t command very much respect amongst their peers, although I’m sure plenty of them don’t give a fuck about that, and some will doubtless thrive off it.

So I accept that someone needs to ambulance chase, for the system to operate but any suggestion that the ambulance chasing business model is founded upon anything other than naked greed and maximum exploitation of the system doesn’t stand up to any objective scrutiny.
