Manchester. Always will be.
Will we see Tevez, Mario, Dzeko and Silva in the same starting 11. I'd say 3 of the 4 maximum. Not sure how they all can play in the same 11.

Not that they have to with 60+ games a season.

great to have them all though, a lot of the time 1-2 will be suspended/ injured and we will hopefully be playing a lot of games with C.L, fa and league cup and prem.

Its the best feeling ever to think that we can start with them 4 if we wanted to though :)

I could see us lining up against weaker teams with Silva just behind the three strikers and pulling the strings. Also Balotelli likes drifting wide left and cutting in so it wouldn't be too crowded in the middle.

.........Hart..........
Zabaleta,Kompany,Kolarov,
.....De Jong....Barry....

Silva......................Johnson./Yaya.
..............Tevez............

......Balotelli.........Dzeko..

go with a back 3,if you like, with Nige & Gaz covering.
David & AJ to run riot down the wings,Carlos playing behind the front 2.
decent line up to me.

Thats why Mancini's being paid, I trust him :P
Agreed. And if anything proves what a great manager he is, that's it. Time after time he goes against the public consensus and is proved right.

Is Joe Hart ready to be our No 1 keeper? Can Yaya Toure really play in an attacking role? Should it be Kompany and Toure or Kompany and Lescott?

Many times he has made decisions that have not been the first option of the majority posters on here, including me, and we have been the ones proved wrong.

In Bobby we trust.

-------------Hart----------------
Zabaleta--Kolo---Kompany---Kolarov
--------De Jong-----Yaya/Barry----
---------------Silva----------------

He's going from strength to strength. Looked great against Liverpool at the start of the season, then didn't play that well for a while after. A few people slagging him off on here, my dad was slagging him off something rotten. I said "give him a season, he'll be a new Vieira, linking defence and attack". He's really coming into his own now. Alot of these players are only going to improve.

Why not? We've got very similar squad to Inter in terms of quality and quantity, and I can see Mancini goes the same route as Mourinho's Inter set up in the end when all of his jigsaws were completed.

-------------------Hart--------------------

Zabaleta------Kolo-----Kompany-----Kolarov

-----------Yaya--------De Jong (Barry)------

-------------------Silva----------------------

------Tevez-------Dzeko------Balotelli------

The key in this formation is Balotelli, who has to increase his work rate to help the defense a lot and if Mancini can sort Balotelli's work rate out, I'm sure we can see this formation from Mancini more frequently than not soon.

Compare to Inter's starting 11 vs Bayern in UCL Final.

Didn't Mancini already state that he may play the 5 of Tevez/Dzeko/Balo/Silva and Johnno? He said it in the Dzeko press conference.

If we're chasing a game or need to break teams down then why not. 1 holding midfielder and then have Silva and Johnson play more as conventional midfielders or attacking mids.

-------------------Hart--------------------

Zabaleta------Kolo-----Kompany-----Kolarov

-----------------De Jong-------------------

---------Johnson----------Silva-------------

-----Tevez -------Dzeko------Balotelli-------

.... Jizz!

I'm fairly certain, you will never see all 4 unless it's towards the end of a match we are losing. Anyway, the will never all start and I think the obvious will be true. That Dzeko and Balotelli will fall into a rotation based on form and fitness. Which won't be a problem because Balo is always injured anyway.

To be honest we actually play 2 at the back our formation when we have the ball is more like-
Hart

Kompany Toure

Zab/Boateng De Jong Kolarov

Ya Ya Barry

Silva Tevez Dzeko

Really cant see all 4 playing together though if needed ballotelli could come on for Barry and drop silva into Barrys role with Tevez out wide and Dzeko through the middle.

Yes, they can all play together.

Aside from remarks made earlier, other teams have to play against them. If you were confronted with these four, what would you do? How would our choice to play all four affect your (optimal) midfield set-up? How many defenders would you commit, and of what type? What would your own plan be to link between your midfield and your own forwards?
