Conservative estimate of 77 goals. we need 4 to 8 more to be close to winning the league. Add an attacking wide mid (Pedro, Di Maria, Lamela or Tello) and that should add another 5 goals. Notice I have no goals for Nasri, as I hope he will be the one being replaced by the speedy wide midfielder.

I love Thiago, and would love him here, but a wide attacking midfielder is more important.

If Aguero got injured, then we would be deep in the mire. We need a forward not a midfielder.

Some of the comments on this thread are absolutely ridiculous. Thiago is a good player with a lot of potential however for people to suggest that he will win United the league is laughable.

IMO Thiago is yet to prove himself and if he was a good as a lot of people are making out then there is no way on earth Barca would let him go. I also think because he is a Barca youth product with an exotic name people are making him out to be the next Messi.

Don't get me wrong United will be getting a very good player with bags of potential but at this present time I could name about 10 midfielders in the prem who are better than Thiago.
