Isn't suitable to play as a lone pivot, but just hasn't ever been influential enough to play higher up the pitch. Don't get me wrong, I see the quality and the skill there, he just doesn't seem to influence games enough for me. Besides as the poster above noted his recent injury record is poor and honestly he plays in the part of the pitch where we are pretty well covered right now. Not a priority.

Thiago looked decent when he came on for Spain sharp quick would love him in our team and would suit us down to the ground.. if there’s anything in Gundogan leaving he would be the ideal replacement imo
 
While I'm not a fan of sicknotes of any kind, and thus wouldn't want him, the idea that you can judge him off id a single sub appearance for the NT is ridiculous at Best and idiotic at worst.

Not based on the few mins he played in tonight’s game he’s a player I’ve always admired imo I think he would improve us

On a free, pay as you play deal perhaps, but otherwise, wouldn’t go anywhere near
 
I know he only got 20 minutes or so, but I thought he was shit last night and one of the reasons Portugal got back into the game and almost won it.
 
Perhaps Bayern has had it with the injuries. We probably shouldn't make it our headache. Some great players are just meant to never be healthy :(
 
Just get Thiago.
He's so much better than any midfielder we've been linked to. He's great at pretty much everything
Longest injury in last 3 years = 2 months
Played 2100 mins in 17/18, 3500 mins 16/17, 2800 mins 15/16
Worth the risk.
