Thierry Ambrose

Thierry did well yesterday, virtually made the goal from notthing agsinst Villa. Won a header from a nothing clearance, he and Devante Cole worked it well. Look forward to seeing more of him. There's limited option in attack, so hopefully he can take the opportunity when he's given it in the EDS

Good news, exciting talent!

For those who watch the eds on a regular basis do we think he would be better for the first team than pozo?
As much as I have liked us giving Pozo a chance he does look a little lightweight which is ok if you have the electric pace to unsettle defenders. He hasn't exactly been getting the service required but from what I have seen of Thierry he has all the attributes to scare defences more and a natural eye for goal.

In no way do I think he would scare defences, but I really likes the lad and think he would do a better job as the lone frontman as he has a bit more pace and physicality about his game.

He would probably struggle.due to his size etc but at least he is someone who is designed to play that kind of role, wheras Pozo absolutely isn't. I think Pozo would impress in that team if allowed to play his normal game.

Ambrose has the tricks & pace to surprise defenders if they take their eye off him.

I'm not knocking Pozo, we are playing out of position but also not using his strengths, I just think Thierry would be a better fit, whilst I also believe he would struggle
