goalkeepers without gloves

the pieman wheeling his pies around the perimeter

the sight of hundreds of cigarettes/lighters at night matches

men forking the pitch at half-time

the ball being kicked out of the ground

Being able to walk along the front of the stand in Platt lane and hovering near the exit at the final whistle without missing any of the game.

The sway of the Kippax when it was standing

We'll never see Ragy Neville get a standing ovation off the Kippax as he ran up the line after feeding the Goat

Its not actually MR but going for a pint before/after the game and your feet actually sticking to the carpet if you stood still for five minutes (The Sherwood)

the amazing round woman that used to run the bar on level 2 , she never wore any shoes , never took any shit , never got a wolf whistle but you never queued for long for a pint.the banter was class , like being in your local .
on the other hand felling la pow on your final journey (not only because of the way our team was usually performing) but because of the corridors and cages that made up the bars of the beloved north stand.howgrounds have changed.

also the parkside.,

happy days indeed , got to say eastlands is only just beginning to feel like it's not an away game.i'd go back tomorrow to main rd.
