Just like to give Lescott a mention,i thought he had a decent home debut.

Bellamy is better than Tevez
De Jong is a top class holding midfielder
Adebayor is the best striker the club have had in decades
Ireland is not playing well
Richards is back to his best
Mark Hughes is getting things right every week
We are more dangerous from set pieces than we have been in many years
We can defend set pieces better than he have in years
We are good enough to win at Old Trafford
Any on-field disciplinary issues will be magnified as we are so high profile now
Hughes is going to have his work cut out keeping everyone happy
We have a team who can defend as well as attack
Shay Given is the best in the premier league
We are not far away from title contenders

Hmm not sure think he needs more time to settle in!

Looked daft for the Van Persie goal and remember a dodgy moment at Portsmouth he got away with!

Looks solid in the air though and made a great tackle to set up one of the goals!

Wish he would stop just hoofing the ball up front though!

he has made a few howlers so far, fair enough they all make mistakes, but good strikers punish you.

No better than Dunne so far, but time will tell. I hope he becomes a legend.

Agree with all that Dave except Bellamy being better than Tevez. Tevez hasn't been match fit and completely injury free since he has been with us so think we have only seen about 40% of what he can offer the team. Taking nothing awawy from Bellers though he has been fantastic for us so far this season but to compare the 2 at the minute is a bit unfair .....

Something else I picked up from Saturday was I have ultimate confidence if we go a goal up in a game we will win far more than we lose. When we go 1 up and team then press forward looking for the equaliser the way we can counter attack I see us scoring more goals and winning more matches

Yes I agree Lescott was mostly excellent. I thought he was at fault for that free header they had on about 10 minutes but the papers seemed to think Richards.

I also nearly put the point about beer queues but thought it might seem a little petty!
