i would like you to live in the real world and accept we have bobby manc as a manager. and what he's done with a team built around mark hughes's style of play is staggering.

why so negative?

actually dont reply to my post, we need this thread to sink to the bottom like a turd in a toilet (unless its a unwanted, frustrating floater)

Bonkers! A couple of questions...

1. Are we better off in the league now?
2. Are we averaging more points per game?

why? lol with hugheses defense we would never get the top 4. we would have lost today with hughes imo.

AJ would of signed, I don't think it was Mancini's idea to sign him. Just a good young lad, who our scouts must of been looking at for a while.

there's no problem with mancini, he's a good manager and a winner as proved with him running down the touchline trying to get the players to stop celebrating and restart the game at sunderland. We are miles better defensively and although the flow of our football has varied and we've had real tight games we always seem to score. i didn't want hughes to go but equally now he has gone i can see little changes that i feel we are benefiting from under mancini

I agree, there are people whose mentality I question, and people who are obviously focused on winning at all times. Mancini doesn't moan, doesn't make excuses, doesn't go missing, doesn't shirk the big calls. He's clever enough. He might be struggling to get everyone to concentrate, follow the game plan and stick together, but every city manager I can remember has struggled to get the players to stick together and concentrate. quite a few of them had no game-plan worthy of the name for the players to follow, so on that score he is well ahead. If, after another transfer window and the best part of a hundred million in fees, he's not made substantial progress in making us consistent, then I might well change my mind, but for now sticking with him looks like our best bet by some distance. and if he gets us top four this year, he will have performed a minor miracle.
