I get that you are an idealist but what people seem to forget is just how little the average person thinks about politics, politics today is all about jingoism, politics needs a refresh it needs to genuinely get in touch with people who know very little about politics.
The Tories are a party I would like to see on the back burner and Labour need to push those policies out in an easy to read easy to understand format so that the voters can digest it and vote for them, but they are a basket case and I have very little doubt that they will shoot themselves in the feet given half the chance.
The "Working class" can be on 45 grand a year now and they will I am sure vote Labour, Labour should be concentrating on the "Underclass" the disenfranchised that couldn't explain the difference between political parties.
My worry about the next GE is that like the fuck up that was Brexit Labour might forget those in the underclass and end up with egg on their face, we can hope that the non informed electorate vote the Tories out but as they say when the inevitable smears start a week in politics is a bloody long time.
