If the opposition defends it correctly they have to send 2 men out from what they'd usually have in the middle

Numbers wise it makes sense.

No, I do understand that but I'd much rather we utilised an additional player in the box all the same. In any case, the thread title is 'things that don't look right'.

I think its a good tactic....it pulls players out of the box, in front of the goal......less players in the box gives more space in which to play/shoot/score....
