things that sh1t you up as a kid

When I was a kid I stayed up late one Friday night and watched an old monster film that was based in the Alps ( I think it was called The Trollenberg terror or something like ) and it scared me shitless, don't know why but it just did.
 
Judge Doom from Rodger Rabbit. Hated the bit when he gets run over by the steam roller.

The story of Billy Goats Gruff when the troll came out and said "Who's that tripping over my bridge?" i used to shit it and hide under the covers but as soon as mum or dad finished reading i'd reappear and demand to have it read again.
 
The giant maggots in Doctor Who that leaped up (thinking on it was physically impossible for them as they had no legs or anything that would have made it possible) and bit people in the neck!

I properly used to either hide behind the sofa, or peer thru the gap in the doorway when the door was ajar :(
 
The child catcher out of chitty chitty bang bang used to scare the crap out of me.

Also a kids TV progreamme called 'Chocky' was really scary, or at leats it seemed it then.
 
The Blob.

It was bath time after, i was in and out in record time after spending the whole time imagining the blob squeezing out of the plughole.
 
There was an eipsode of Strange But True on ITV that had these ghost kids doing ring around the rosie around a pylon. They used thsi on the adverst and i would scream teh house down and shove my head into the sofa
