Went for a heavy sesh with a YTS lad from work, we got on fine, mostly talking about our hatred of the rags... so he asked me if I fancied a few after we were allowed to clock off early, I said yes. Sadly we didn't bum. Anyhoo we got talking after a few absinthe's and we agreed that chips don't taste the same abroad... so what else isn't as good abroad as at home?

Chips
Bacon
Water
Sausages
Guinness, for some reason it tastes watered down no matter where I go.

I agree with all of these especially bacon, for some strange reason.

Heres an opposite - things that taste better abroad than at home...

Rum.
I got into rum & cokes big time in St Lucia one year - couldn't get enough!
So I bought 4 bottles of the exact same stuff they were serving me with at the bar and brought them home...
It tasted absolutely shocking when I decided to have a few in my front room!
Without the 36 degree heat and bright sunshine, the white sand, the aqua blue sea and the steel drums it just wasn't the same
for some reason?
