I love Harry Potter. Both the films and the books. I was at the right age when they were books, and I'm at the right age for the films. Whether you like it or not, you can't deny its importance in the future of literature.

It turned a generation of children to reading and a world of imagination, and as childish as the stories are and as disappointing as it is to the readers who wanted difficult words and complex language so they could assert their intelligence by reading it, understanding it, and then talking about it with peoplw who don't understand so that they can further assert their intelligence that way, it is still one of the greatest and longest running franchises in the history of media. And it deserves to be there, unlike Twilight.

it is good. but i prefer lord of the rings to be honest, its not gay and weyyy cooler.
