Things to do in Manchester

Sadly most gents leisure spas in town are long gone along with the glamour cinema club on Oxford Road so that leaves shopping, the footy museum and the week end spice sales conference at Piccadilly Gardens. As its Friday you could have gone to Bury Market.

The National Football Museum, close to Victoria Station is a go to place for any football fan.
And Chethams Library just by it, although I'm not sure whether you have to do it as a tour, or can just wander in. You can go into the John Rylands library.

You could get the tram out to Media City, where there's the Lowry Museum and Imperial War Museum.

Hard to disagree sadly. Went Prague last weekend, proper sights, buildings etc. Limited amount of knobheads knocking about as well.

Architecture in Prague is something else isn't it. One of the few cities that didn't get bombed to fuck during the world wars. Beautiful buildings everywhere you look!

I've never been to the Lowry, but I have been to the War Museum a few times and really enjoyed it.
And I've taken 2 of my grandsons once, and they loved all the inter - active displays.

And don't forget The Science and Industry Museum near to Deansgate.
Another free attraction that is choc a block filled with displays.

There's a McDonald's restaurant on Market Street. Delicious food at a reasonable price.

Hey blues , visiting Manchester first time today and tomorrow for game.Any good recommendations to roam around and visit ?
Hi neel, where are you from? Hope your not 1 of them half and half scarf wearing twats, and with a chelsea top under your city top so you can support whoever wins.

Lol, you sound like me giving the lowdown to my missus on it. Educated her on the assassination of Heydrich including dragging her to the Saints Cyril and Methodius Cathedral which was extremely poignant. Neck and neck with Seville for stunning buildings though. Manchester is drab in comparison, city centres at least.
