I've no recollection of writing that... but its portrays my feelings towards the majority of the British Public quite well. I think should have stated specifically British Lager is where I have an issue, ale (proper beer) is generally quite good to be fair.

That's a good one actually. I can't think of a good, common lager out of the UK. The latin countries (not France if you count them) do lager best I reckon.
