Kids out at all in fact. Sad really. I'm so glad I grew up in the late 80's. It's all gaming and headsets like a puff these days.kippaxwarrior said:Kids playing 20-a-side football during the summer holidays

Lads being lads. It's all man bags, grooming and looking like a complete puff these days.
Young drivers in a banger. It's all brand new corsa on finance like a complete puff these days.

closest to the wall wins. but...if someone throws a coin and it hits the nearest coin "chinks" is called and all start again.
won a fair amount at this in 1976!!!
Remember the little hammer you got with toffee from Thorntons? Don't see them anymore either.Mr White said:Pigeonho said:Mojo's. Corner shop near me sold them for half a penny when I was a nipper.

There two sizes of Mojos. Big ones were a penny and the small ones were half a pence.
Highland Toffee bars
Frys Fruit Cream
Piglets crisps
Sherbet Dip
Bitsa Pizza crisps
Wheelz crisps. (Majorca sells em!)
The pop man. (20p back on the bottle)
The Pit shop. Most collieries local had one stuffed with counterfeit clothing and the like.
Lada cars.
Sit down Space Invaders.

Asda have started doing the Barrs pop like the pop man sold. I had some D&B on Friday - lovely.
Pitza Pizza were the fucking dogs bollocks.
My dad had a LADA.
We named each game after the value of the coin. So, if you were pitching ten-pence pieces, you'd call it "tens". I've just finished and we played it all the time but don't think it's new, it's mentioned in 'A View from the Bridge' I do believe.Ammy said:Freds Patio said:Ammy said:Is that where they throw coins at a kerb/ wall?
There is a massive trend for that at my school atm!
Throwing a football at the kerb, to see who could hit it. Both players take a side of the road each.
The bounce-back rule was revolutionary!
Ahh! What's the coin-chucking game called then? Is it an oldie or have the little scamps invented a new way of taxing money off each other?
