fuck me that guy stole a living it seemed to me as a nipper and if he's still around no doubt fearing a heavy knock on his door too but, its amazing what a bit of nostalgia for things past and those departed can do.
 
Accumulators, no not the betting thingies. These were massive batteries that had to be regularly recharged and I had to go with an old pram down to the shop to take the old one and get a replacement. Considering that they were full of acid what are the chances of that today. I often wonder how we won the war because this was only the fifties.
