The only thing that will affect the speed it burns at is the amount of oxygen in the environment. I presume there will be more on a cold day as a hot day will tend to be more humid - more moisture in the air so it will burn slower on a warm day.

Surely it'd burn faster in warmer weather, the cold air would slow down the speed it's burning, as more of its energy would be used staying lit.

Well theres the thing. If it is using more of its enery staying lit it is burning faster

It does the colder it is the slower it burns as it has to raise the temperature more to get to the same point.

unless the temperature outside is more than the temperature being generated by the burning of the materials in the fag, then no.... what will have a bearing is the oxygen and humidity of the air

When someone has a drag on the smoke they suck oxygen down into it causing the embers to burn. The outside temperature has no bearing whatsoever.

100% wrong. Once the fire is started it doesn't matter a fuck how cold it is.. unless it's cold enough to freeze oxygen .. the heat is generated from the oxygen and the fire that has already started

The tobacco burns when you get it to a certain temperature, if you have to raise the temperature by more then it's going to burn slower admittedly a minute ammount.
