Things you refuse to call by their new name

When did Warner Brothers become Warner Bros? And when did the Super Mario Brothers become The Mario Bros?
I will stick to calling them Brothers as Bros really winds me up.
i mean, not to piss on your chips, but the original '83 and '85 games from Nintendo were called Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros. That's how it started. Was it ever called Super Mario Brothers?

But is it a bit pointless changing their names so late in their careers. All the big hits and albums sold were as the dixie chicks.
The word Dixie is still on the radio in songs.

Its like a lot of irish rebel songs banned for sale and on radio but only tends to make them even more popular.
The O’Balds
The band formerly known as The Wolfe Tones.
The crafty feckers.

@Bill Walker He is Bill he is. If you were in a terraced house in Gorton cica 1972 he would be called a mongrel, at best a cross. Further, you would not have paid $2,000 for him, youd have got him from a mates mam.
He's a cross, half poodle half cavalier spaniel.
A Mongrel is several varieties.
That's what you pay for, you know what he will look like when he grows up.
A poodle is $5k. So for us a cross was good at $2k.
Could probably have got a Mongrel for free but like the look of him and no dog hairs everywhere.
And didn't want a big dog.
He's brilliant and worth every penny.
