We did everything possible in the second half to hand the title to Manure.

Just watched it again on the OS and noticed that for the restart after Aguero's goal the QPR player over the ball points to the City end, indicating for the other guy to hoof it downfield and then plays it back to him which is technically incorrect (isn't it? the ball first has to be played forward). Like the title says, you start noticing all these little things after watching it for the zillionth time. Never ever gets old.

One sequence I always laugh at afterwards is from the public reactions the guy going totally mental and try killing his seat with a scarf after Balotelli missed his chance... then when Aguero scores he just goes totally mental and noone is around for him to hug... hahaha!!!

Last night was the first time i have seen the QPR bench celebrating as they take their throw in just before our third goal.The player holding the ball waiting to take it is dawdling and when news comes in they are safe,Hughes urges him to throw it down the line.

Nobody will know whether that news affected the match but if you watch the desperate attempts to stop Aguero getting a shot in and the anger when he scores,i doubt it.

For me at the match i just remember a total feeling of utter despair and misery too awful to take in,like a living nightmare it was all going wrong.


I had to walk into the concourse in the South stand to compose myself and recall seeing a girl sitting on the floor absolutely distraught head in hands and it mirrored my feelings exactly.I got to the top of the stand as Dzeko scored and the rest is glorious history!
