Sadly, I agree with you. I can be a complete sucker for cheap sentimentality (still have a good old sniffle watching the end sequence to Six feet Under ...) but I thought this was over-egged. There is a fantastic story to be told but this video was a blatant attempt at emotional manipulation and left me feeling a tad icky. Positively Liverpudlian.
