This egg chasing lark at the swamp today

We moan about the pro-Liverpool bias in football but the same shit is alive and well in rugby league n’all.

In tonight’s GF:
Fages was offside for the opening try;
Walmsley stood in defensive line and stopped Walker making a tackle - ref played on;
Thompson elbow to the face on the floor - no penalty (it could actually have been a sin bin);
Headbutt on the floor - no penalty;
Ball steal judged as a knock on - Saints scored a try from;
High tackle on Evalds - no penalty, then Saints receive a penalty within two plays later and kick for 2;
Dudson judged to have knocked on on Saints’ line when the Sts man was all over him;
Blatant shoulder charge by Naiqama - no penalty.

It was a seriously one-sided, very poor performance by the ref!

Anyone would think that Super League don’t want, what will be a very depleted Salford team next year and a Salford team that very much overachieved this season, representing Super League against Sydney in the World Club Challenge...

I have little interest in RL but apparently its 13 years since SH won the grand Final yet the media wankfast over Salford would have drove us mad if it was a City v Stoke final.

Quite so, PC

Imagine that scoreboard in football for VAR with the dial spinning between goal/no goal.
That would make var even worse than it already is
