Now, don't shoot me here, but I've just come back from watching the rags. My friend has a soft spot for them, and as the tickets were cheap, I decided to go along, as the comedy on TV over here has really gone down the drain. Its amazing how much that club I hated for so long has fallen. Who would have thought 10 years ago they would be playing in the Northern Counties League? That Glazer debt, and the punishment they got for the match-fixing, and referee bribing, that has gone on since 1993, has really crippled them. It amazes me how they got away with it for so long. But watching them lose 4-0 to Kittleswaith Town, I actually felt a bit sorry for them, never thought I would say that. Does anyone feel the same? They used to taunt us, and laud it over us for years, but even FC United are 3 Leagues above them now.
