This is becoming an utter joke!

Not read the whole thread, but has anyone commented on Hoddle's haircut today?

His barnet was a disgrace. Reminded me of 70's snooker player Terry Griffiths.
Think he was going for the 'Bobby Manc' look but his lack of continental chutzpah let him down.

Baffles me why people get so wound up about what pundits think or say.

Join the 'couldnt give a fuck' club, its lovely over here.
Yep, enjoying every minute. I think there's a stark difference between us lot and those who seem to take notice of everyting that is written and said about us. We're much more relaxed, laid back, less paranoid and most of all enjoying all of this.

I'm couldn't be enjoying our rise to the top any more.

I'm also capable of commenting on the press on an internet message board without it affecting my enjoyment.

Don't know why people seem so scared to discuss the way that the media talks about us.

Have to agree.....they all talk shite and are trying to cause friction and negative press repeatedly. It is actually funny listening to them cos' they don't have a bloody clue

They're trying to create a "Perfect Storm" scenario to get rid of Mancini using the following

Consistent European Failures

Balotelli's antics

Mancini's demeanour

Players hate/fear him

Defence gone to pot due to poor tactics/zonal marking/3-5-2

New Spanish executives/Guardiola lurking

Crowd quiet/booing

Mancini asking for Neymar/Falcao signing then putting boot in if they don't come.

This all coincides with a harder run of fixtures and a batch of injuries but we didn't read the script yesterday.

Contrast the questioning of Dzeko with that of Hernandez. Any muckraking about the lezzer being dissatisfied with a role of few starts?

Paddy Barclay was fairly pro-City last season tipping City to win the title and looking pleased for us when we did. What have done to turn him into the whiney little woman he's become the last couple of weeks?

Mancini's dismissal a few months after a title win and a disasterous choice of successor would be a fantastic story for the reptiles.

They miss City being the "Theatre of Base Comedy" and want it back ASAP.

Waiting in the wings will be United to show us all how it should be done.

You think thats bad have you seen The Independent headline

"Manchester City's Edin Dzeko saves Roberto Mancini from embarrassment against Tottenham Hotspur"

Pfft, amateurs. Daily Mail show them how it's done

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2231539/Manchester-City-maintain-unbeaten-start-tense.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... tense.html</a>

I think it ceased to be a joke quite a while ago. Like most I've been trying the "water off a ducks back" approach to it all but even I am starting to get fed up with the constant sniping. Its almost impossible to remain unaffected by it all.

Can you imagine any journo coming up with the headline "The little pea pulls lucky fergies bacon out of the fire" and then proceeded to write that old bacon was lucky as hell and that a team that was 4th from bottom had torn the rags up for arse paper both tactically and physically before tiring and letting lack of experience put the rags back in the game. He'd never darken the doors of the swamp again.
