Turks Head on Shudehill is a decent boozer, does food as well, but I have not eaten there. You can always go to the Printworks or Northern Quarter for food. Hare & Hounds is cheap (Joey Holts). Some places in the Northern Quarter don't allow football colours, I have heard that the Tib St tavern is quite good and does a burger & pint offer, but no colours.

You can jump on the tram at Shudehill that will take you to the game.

Hahaha I usually try one in Waldorf myself,but I thought fuck it,I'll have a mooch around Victoria end for a change,I ain't walking up there neither !!

If you`re ever up at the Picadilly end nip in to the Bulls Head,get a lot of Blues in there and a very nice pint.

The Shack is pretty good pre match. Not too busy, but plenty of blues, nice food, big screen tv's and individual tvs in the booths showing the games. Also have a couple of pool tables.

coming in at vic stations go to the manchester arms. great pub a bit rough maybe but has jack the rippers on. just do not go for a pony and trap as no doors on cubicles. oh fuck me i am still living in the 1970's

Well that was a bit of a strange day to say the least,got into Victoria around 12,went to Sinclairs then went to the LFC Manchester supporters branch to watch the dinner time game,aka Tib St Tavern,never again,then to Crown and Kettle then upto Mary D's and then the match,the sooner the trains running back into Picc the better !!
