we win however many titles, win back to back premier leagues, win more than one champions league etc.
With the goalposts constantly being moved by the city hating rag and dipper influenced media, what will it take in your eyes to see this team become a great? And does any blue actually care when a rag says 'come back when you've got 20?'
For me we are already on the cusp of greatness with the football they've produced this season and already on the verge of winning a fantastic league title

You have to remember where the source of most of this comes from and it’s Sky and Gary Neville. He does say plenty of positives but any little thing he can do to have a subtle dig he does.

If we defended the title then we’d be only truly great if we win 3/4 on the bounce. If we win the Champions League we’d only be great if we bettered Utd or Liverpool’s tally.

It’s all a bit ridiculous really.

I know this team is great and I don’t need some scummy rag to point it out to me when they think we are great. It must be churning the poor mites up inside seeing us walk off with the league and facing off against another team they hate in the champions league whilst they have been sidelined.

This current team has won fewer titles than Leicester. In terms of European titles, they're behind:

Red Star Belgrade
Steuar Bucharest
Celtic
Villa
Forrest
Marseille
And every other team that's won the "big ears".

They also lag behind the nighty Malmo, Partizan Belgrade, Panathanaiokos, Bruges, St. Etienne, Leeds, Fiorentina, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen etc - all of whom have made it to the European cup final.

This team could go on to match all of the above and be considered "great". Until then, leave the hyperbole to the internet and let the talking be done on the pitch.

Their have been great teams that have never won the european cup or been to a final.

In our leagues case titles are my benchark as they are the hardest to win than knockout copmetition, that's why only a handful have done bacl to back ones.

I disagree that any of the Forest teams Clough managed were ‘great’. That’s what made his achievements so great.

Winning the European Cup back then wasn’t a great achievement. Liverpool and Bayern both got a byes in the first round in years they won it and only played six games before the final. Forest played European giants Öster and Arges Pitesti before the Quarters in 1979-80. All you had to do was win a few rounds. Winning the FA Cup was harder to do.
