fast forward a year from then, and you look at the bbc sport page, the main headlines are 'mancini to be sacked' and 'ferguson enjoys farewell title win'. even back then as i had just come down from the high of winning the title i couldnt have envisaged such events happening. it truly is a huge turn of events. but thats football, as upsetting and painful as it is.

Going off United winning the title 12 previous times in the Prem era before we did, it wasn't exactly hard to envisage them winning it this season.

My birthday. Understatement to say it's the polar opposite of my last one.

Still no one can ever take that day last year away from us and I know we WILL have more days like this in the (not too distant) future.

The birthday email from City with Joe Hart grinning like a **** didn't help but reading some of the stuff on here has given me a few laughs today.
