WOW - 6-0!!! - What the fuck has happened to Newcastle this year? Has the Europa league killed them this year? They are so far from the decent team they were last year!
A few of you lads have mentioned Liverpool thinking it's there year next year etc etc like they always do!
So in reality do they have the squad to properly challenge for the title? - I think us & manure are far to strong and have far more depth and quality than they currently have... and also if they do get rid of that rabbit faced bitting prick saurez who will get them all their goals?

They hammered a team that seem shot to pieces, the six teams above them are better than them, sometimes not on the day obviously, but over the course of the season. I think half their problem is being obsessed with their history, the other half is they believe their hype when they win a game like tonight and get complacent. A lot of Newcastle's best players last season have struggled for various reasons in this one. Cisse hasn't built on last season's success, and Tiote and Gutierrez have gone backwards, shadows compared to last year. Cabaye has had his injuries, and hasn't hit the form he showed when he arrived, Ben Arfa's just hasn't got going. Coloccini has had all the transfer talk, and it looks to have affected his game somewhat, one of the best defenders in the League on his day. Ba was scoring the goals, but now he's gone, and nobody else has really stepped in. They also had a poor summer transfer window, the squad didn't strengthen, while the teams around them did. Pardew's tactics (Sissoko on the left?) haven't helped at all. Yanga-Mbiwa looks to be a good signing though.
Liverpool don't have a squad to challenge for the title, they're way off that, but they're getting better. They're inconsistent, but typically, two of their best performances came against us!
