This weekends FA Cup games Discussion Thread

Van der Vaart MoM? Not for me.

I'd give it to one of the Watford lads, they've battled well second half.

Also has Ade touched the ball?

it gets voted thats why he's won it.

even the scots commentator didn't think so.

Very poor, the sort of performance we began to associate with him after the honeymoon period with us.

Straight down the tunnel.

Burley has been talking up Spuds all night, it's like we really hurt him by beating them

What will he be saying when they start their annual nose dive which is due to start in a week or so? Or when their loveable wheeler dealer manager is doing bird for stealing from the hard working British tax payer

Great effort by the Watford fans you don't usually see fans stay behind like this.

Dycey pays his taxes Dycey pays his taxes na na na, na na na

you jammy cunts spurs.

Liquid football was what you witnessed tonight, we were unstoppable.

Seriously though, what a truly awful performance. Got through and thats the main thing but yeah, not good from anyone involved bar Livermore perhaps, who on the whole went about his work tidily. And apparently Aaron's done his 'amstring which is a fucking disaster. To be fair we can deal with one of Aaron or Bale being out but our problems start if both are.

Read before that Ade's scored 2 in his last 10.

As good as his overall play was over the first third of the season, and as much as his attitude looks to have improved, he appears to be getting to that six month wobble stage again.

Course, he's always got a goal in him...but then he's always liable to miss five good chances in any one game. It wasn't one of those tonight...more one where he's completely anonymous.

Still win/win for Spurs in a way, they've had a reasonable Premier League striker for nothing for a season, but in terms of the bigger picture, not sure. I'm hearing lots of "if we had a decent striker" stuff from Spurs fans again, when until as recently as a couple of months ago they were claiming they had one.

2 in last 10? I'm not good with stats but I'm sure that's a little harsh, you might be right though...

He may not be as prolific as we like but as long as others are scoring I'm not bothered to be honest, he's had three rather legimate goals wrongly ruled out which would have gave him a pretty good return (and us some justified points but lets not get in to that...).

It's difficult to single out Ade for critisim as everyone bar Livermore looked like they genuinely couldn't be arsed to be there. Astounding really and I hope that Harry pounds in the message that another performance like that in any competition will see them out of the first team.

Striker wise I've no idea what's going to happen, it'd be nice to have a young talented striker on our books to jump at the chance to play in games like tonight rather than some sulky ones to mope around the pitch a bit...Our system was completely wrong though which didn't help. Don't see the point in having players like Pienaar/Niko around if we're not going to use them.
