Re: The Tottenham Thread 13/14 part 3.
Yeh was a good performance from the whole team really. The result was never in doubt too much for Tottenham. I have always rated Walcott despite the stick he got from the media and Arsenal fans. People seemed to forget how young he was, because he had been around for so long.Ronuja said:supercrystal7 said:Wenger must surely sign Rosicky to a new deal. He has spoken of going to America, but he is too good for that. Would still be a great squad player at least for most of the top clubs about. Fantastic player with a career ruined by injuries.
I really want him to retire with us, hopefully with some kind of trophy. He really deserves it, fantastic player. Walcott looked lively throughout today, hope the knock to his knee isn't too serious otherwise we're really down to just Podolski up front. At the other end of the spectrum, Serge Gnabry was brilliant throughout, set up the first goal and always looked dangerous. He's got pace, vision, dribbling ability, and end product as well. I'm really excited to see what's to come from him in the next few years.

Considering it's a sport I love, I fucking hate a huge proportion of the little girly arseholes that play the game. Wilshire is one of many many many little cûnts in the game.samharris said:Wilshere is the snide of football..

i can sort of understand what fans mean when they talk about wilshere, a lot of teams have that type of player the rival fans love to hate, just something about them, but at the same time more often then not they are also great players, im not discussing whether wishere is or isnt right now (i think he is for the record).
BUT, there seems a lot of hate towards him and most of it seems to be about him being bitchy and complaining all the time.
if you watched most arsenal games as i do you will see that against almost every team he is constantly targeted for little niggly snidy fouls and hacks. every game almost without fail. and its rotational fouling, they all seem to take it in turns. yes its a mans game but i can understand why it gets so frustrating for him when your clearly targeted like that, especially when he's had injuries on his ankles that have robbed him of almost 2 years.

ITV barely mentioned him in the Arsenal v Spurs game, but I thought he was the stand out player especially considering that for much of the game Spurs were outnumbered in midfield. I hope Spurs are going to give this boy a chance when Paulinho comes back from injury.
