I've seen worse not called though. But how someone plays in a way with desire to get a colleague sent off is baffling.

stuffy cunts been so so all half and then another dive which to be fair on the ref at his angle would look like a pen and a red card means they will probably win at a canter when they were looking nowt like that

Well if their masterplan for the season is based on Young diving about trying to win them penalties, I'm going to guess that will fail more times than it will succeed.

Watch it again. Young began to fall over on very minimal contact to his torso (laterally to his run) outside the box. His legs were not touched and the direction of the force was not in line with the direction of his "stumble", which started well before the Palace defender went to ground.

The fall makes no sense from a physics standpoint so I categorize it as a dive. And it was outside of the box so should have never been a penalty, anyway.

The referee was faced with sending someone off and chose the easier path at the swamp.

Just like last season rely on a sending off to help their cause,they should win 4-5 now and the media will hail it as irresistible utd....

The sad part is that if the palace defender did nothing Young would have fluffed his shot.

It would still be 0-0 and 11v 11.
