perhaps it was only a matter of time before Jose got them tight and effective, this is the third game where they've looked rather dreary but quite deadly. say what you like that is how the league is generally won, playing shit and getting results. we've got a couple of wins in recent weeks whilst off form and will need more if we are to be there at the end of the season. can't understand the need of others to shout down anyone who thinks we won't simply waltz away with it. smacks of insecurity.
We're not playing shit though. It's nothing exciting but none of our last 4 opponents have looked like they were capable of hurting us. We were getting by before Christmas but now we're looking like a real Mourinho team. Hull packed the midfield and played with 3 CB's today, so I'm not expecting a thriller. We get those against better teams.

Isn't that what got him sacked the first time round?

I'd say that had more to do with Sheva and arguments over transfers and meddling. So far he's been left alone. We're a pretty happy camp at the moment. Besides, we play dreary stuff away from home as we should because we're there for the points. At home it's a different story as I'm sure we'll show against United next week.
