This Weekends other Prem games Discussion 29-30 Sept

Arsenal tiring from around 70 minutes and profligate, as ever, in front of goal. Chelsea look young, fit, and hungry, but they have created fewer opportunities from open play and are a Torres injury away from looking lightweight up front.

Don't think we should underestimate the mental experience we gained last year of crossing the finishing line first.

Brilliant result for Chelsea and the way they closed out the game there was perfect.

If City lose today, I think we should all go back to being Chelsea fans! ;)

Great chance for Giroud in the end, but agree with Alan Smith, Ramires MOTM for me. Such a big game player. In the tough times he made sure he got on the ball, covered lots of ground. Very, very impressive win for Chelsea. They were not at their best, wasted a lot of chances on the break. Arsenal have showed enough to show that do not have the strength of character to be title challenges.

Arsenal too tired from their effort against us to do anything now. Chelsea haven't even been good.

Rubbish Chelsea didn't let Arsenal settle. Di Matteo got his tactics spot on - unlike Mancini last week.

-- Sat Sep 29, 2012 1:41 pm --

Yep, anything other than a win and we've got a mountain to climb already!

Fair enough they were better tactically but I do think Arsenal play with a lot more belief against us than they do against Chelsea (and United). Their reaction to the Chelsea goals was very poor, visibly deflated them. And there was a spring in their step last week that wasn't in much evidence today, other than the few minutes after Gervinho scored. Chelsea closed out the last 20 very well but still think Arsenal were jaded and couldn't do much about it.

Suarez not getting a stone wall pen against Norwich, fans singing "were all going to have a party when Suarez gets a pen" xD
