3 yellow cards all season for Adam, what a joke. The Dippers get away with murder with their fouling as we've seen.
He's a fucking donkey. I was over for the league game against them and he was kicking our players and whining at the ref for the whole game.

Comment from Yahoo:

You should never write Liverpool off, remember Istanbul?

Bellamy is still such a player, easily Liverpool's best this season for me.

Funny how the players that for whatever reason were moved on are doing well for their current sides.

When fit Ade and Bellamy would be amongst the first picked for their sides now.

It's simple, square pegs round holes, some players just do not fit in certain teams. It's naive to assume that because they are playing well where they are now that they would be the same at us, when in Ade's and Bellamy's case, it was their attitudes. Not their ability.

Both can obviously play the game and its true some players have difficulty accepting certain managerial and decision making on match days.

Difficult to say how those players would be playing in a City shirt now.

At least I would think neither of them would go on strike upon refusing to warm up for an important chumps league game and professional pride would ensure they put in a decent shift when selected.

As you say they had an attitude problem although they no doubt would beg to differ.

Response on BBC live text to Liverpool fans saying K.D won the title before:

"From anon, via text: "T'Pau were big in 1987-88 but you wouldn't ask them to open Glastonbury. Every dog etc etc.""

haha

Not sure about Adebayor but I think Bellamy would have no problem in our team as an impact winger. If not for his incompatibility with Mancini I honestly think he'd still be here, I don't think he is one of those "not good enough for our new level" players.

True, but we've still got a few whose attitudes are, well, iffy at various times. Tevez we know all about. But AJ and Dzeko have both shown displeasure at being subbed this season, and Ned did his legendary interview on Soccer AM. And Mario being puzzled at being subbed in the pre-season after his backheel. But they were all kept on (unwillingly in CT's case admittedly). I suppose if your face doesn't fit, you're history.

I agree, unfortunately two fiery characters like Mancini and Bellamy will always clash, and there's only one winner in that fight. Bellamy had to go.

-- Sat Jan 21, 2012 7:39 pm --

Great goal.

Still a good player, but he has issues, not the kind you want in any team
