this is just awful from liverpool. Looks like the only half decent signing made was a free transfer and he is at the end of his career, Carroll, Adam, Downing and Henderson all useless and a total waste of money. Compare this team playing tonight to the one a couple of seasons ago that contained players like Alonso, Macherano and Torres even Milan Baros was better than Carroll who is a lumbering clown with 2 left feet and no big toes. rubbish rubbish rubbish

The really funny thing is, well, there are many, but one that stands out.. Liverpool will most likely lift the Carling Cup. We're shit at Anfield and their inferiority complex forbids them from playing at less then maximum against any team above them. However, whilst winning a trophy would be a great achievement (though in the same vein of criticism levelled at us it's the least they should expect after ALL THAT MONEY SPENT ;)), they really need to get back into the Champions League to justify all that spending (And their hypocritical sponsorship deals). Winning the CC will all but ensure Kenny hanging around for another season; Can anyone see him delivering at least 4th place next year? If there is a 'top 6', they're certainly the worst team in it. Wonder if Sky will keep expanding the parameters if they drop any further down the table? Shame Newcastle didn't get a result today.
