This weekends other Prem Games

Have to say I know it's early days but I am so impressed by Southampton. You forget they only just got promoted to the prem league a year ago and now look at them. I doubt they'll finish anywhere near the CL places but they're deffo moving in the right direction.

Dunno why people even go there, unless they like being ordered around and dictated to like gutless sheep.
No need to; you can guess what it's like on there.....

Jol has just been sacked.......never saw that coming!

Was on the phone to my mate who was on the way to the game and said Jol will get the sack the week before we play Fulham (you know the rest of the script..........)

no suprise jol sacked. predicted it last night and he had lost the dressing room big time their.

I think everyone knew Jol would be sacked. Him and Hughton were a game away from losing their jobs. Hughton sadly to our chagrin managed to win two key games and has escaped the pressure.

Mourinho still trying to find his best team and best formation. Have to hand it to him, because he changed the formation and hit the ball long, which is the perfect way to bypass a high pressing team. It's why Chelsea with Drogba had so much success against Barcelona. January will be interesting, because they will probably strengthen.

Liverpool were just terrible and we could have done with them getting points today. Everything about the performance was bad. The players seemed complacent and sure they would get the victory. Huddlestone may not be good defensively, but he can sure control a game. In fact at this very moment he might be the best English midfielder and dictating the tempo of a game, but he is just so static and other players can run through him.

United did not deserve the points against Tottenham, but Spurs made a couple of big mistakes. Walker was actually good in attack today, but like usual he gave away a goal. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say he gives away at least 20 goals a season from his own individual mistakes. Solado has no excuses today and was poor. He got the service, but wasted a number of chances. Tottenham have a decent run of games where they can get results. They need 9 points from there next 3 fixture and this is possible.

United were awful and were lucky spurs are so bad up front and at the back.

liverpool gave worst peformance of the weekend . they simply can,t defend. 13 goals they let in away from home . not good enough at the back and have manager no clue about tactics. they will fall away as the season goes on and everton and them will fight it out with spurs for 5th. united will still get 4th in my view.

I have not always talked about arsenal on here. given my thoughts on range of things including about non football things

Thanks for agreeing with my post. Liverpool are the worst for me of the top six at the back. they could have lost more then two away and were lucky to draw at swansea, newcastle and everton. If they did not have the two strikers scoring for then, their be no better then 8th or 9th this season. Their be even weaker when suarez leaves them next summer.

Did not see the City game, but from the highlights some of the attacking play looks frightening and this was without Silva. I don't agree that Nasri is standing out just, because Silva is missing though. He has been pretty good the entire season. Said it before, but when City get Kompany and Nastacic back hard to see a more complete team in Europe at the moment.

You must have missed the schooling Bayern gave us then.
