That West Ham win is a great result for us, they are safe now no matter what and Everton are virtually guaranteed to finish ahead of Spurs due to goal difference.

Draw for Sunderland and a win for Villa would set us up nicely now!

Maybe Spurs are throwing it to avoid the Europa League. That's the mentality of English clubs with that competition (but look at the final four this year to see how good it is in the latter stages).

Plus you have to start the new season a couple of weeks earlier than everyone else.

but CL qualification for the winner from next season I think which, with Spuds inability to qualify through the league, is the best option for them.
