This Weekends Prem Games Discussion Thread

Ah well, too good to last wasn't it! Wenger is in the shite, and so is Redknapp after today's results. However what it does show is how Ferguson will always be up there where goal difference is concerned. We laid off Spurs in the last 30 mins, when in reality we probably could have scored a couple more. However, I do believe we have the beating of this Rag side.

GOAL! Manchester United 8-2 Arsenal (Young 90+2 min) Yep, it's Manchester United 8-2 Arsenal. Yep. Young sweeps another stunning curler into the far top corner, this time from inside the box. It's a significant goal, because it means United jump above City and go top of the league. There is a history of United gazumping City, from 1968 to 1999, and on a small level they have done so tonight with a staggering performance.

Quite simply, pathetic.

Also;

85 min "I suppose this season it's going to be The Battle For Football's Soul - Fergie's young guns versus the Money of City," says John Reid. "The losers - a competitive League."
I hope that coont gets a serious dose of the shits tonight coz he don´t half know how to talk it

One thing about the scum they keep going for goals

Yes, very true. We played a training match the last 20 mins instead of scoring another few goals. Good lesson for us and I hope Mancini and the players take note.

Are you fucking serious????

We won 5 fucking 1 at Tottenham for fucks sake.

It was near the last 30 minutes we stopped playing. Ahh well at least we beat a slightly unsettled Spurs team AWAY. Rather than a completely demoralized Arsenal team at home that's lost the spine of there team.

if you look at the goals they wern't particulary down to good play, sheer shit defending, 3 free kicks, 2 good stikes from young when left with too juch space, a farce for wellback goal, park and nani left with too much space.

I know what he's on about. We laid off in the last half hour. Ferguson's teams never, ever lay off, that's why their goal difference is always good. However, I absolutely believe our performance was better, even though the press will call it different.
