Same here, in real time looked a pen, the replay shows he takes a couple of steps after minimal contact then does a swan dive. Utterly reprehensible person but you would take it every time I guess

Definitely a foul and sending off. That look at the linesman just before he dives in seals it for me. He knew that, in the absence of an offside flag, he was going to have to bring Costa down.

I reckon he was looking to see if there was cover behind not at the linesman - stupid thing to do in either case.

He'd be thinking I can make the tackle and not get sent off if there's cover.

Either way, stupid tackle and clear red card.... and he knew it! Would have done better letting Costa go and have a try, he may well have failed, but if he did score it was so early on. The only time you could justify such a challenge if it's in the last 15 mins and you have something (a point or three) that's worth hanging on to.

This is controversial but if I knew Chelsea would get relegated if they lose this I'd want Arsenal to win. I'd rather Arsenal getting 3 points and to have Chelsea removed as transfer targets competition for next 2 years.
