So what are your guys thoughts United chances at New Castle? I recon 3-1 for the jordies. Ba and cisse are on form (cisse scored 2ice recently) and Tiote,Cabay and arfa will rip those ***** to shreds.

They got battered there last year, but I just can't shake the thought of a United team playing this badly not turning it around with a vengeance. We really underrate their players, and they're playing below their level at the moment. They also have a habit of very rarely if ever loosing two league games in a row, even if it's just stopping the rot and drawing/scraping a win the next game (after the 6-1 they were rocked, yet still managed a series of 1-0 wins on the bounce).

I think about the only outcome I would be sure of is not a Toon win.

I agree with your points about those cunts. But if Ben arfa is on his game he will literally rip them apart ( due to united not being able to press). And Tiote playing the enforcer route the only way i think they can win is by playing hoofball. cuz im convinced they will hardly see any of the ball in midfield(united) = not being able to feed roony or kagawa.

van persie will be the difference , newcastle will control the game but i see united scoring on the break , van persie only needs half chances to score so i will not be surprised if united win this one despite being the second best team on the field

I want 4-2 but i will not be surprised with a 2-3

Re: United thread 2012/13 (inc merged IPO thread)

It makes a nice change to see United are now under some pressure.

What with City, Chelsea and Arsenall all winning yesterday, United have to win today at Newcastle.

With Stoke, Chelsea(x2) and Arsenal coming up, they will have to be at their best not to fall off the pace, even at this early stage of the season.

Re: United thread 2012/13 (inc merged IPO thread)

If they draw at Newcastle they will be 6 points behind Chelsea with an away trip to Stamford Bridge in 3 weeks. They have to win today. and they probably will
