This weekend's Premier League games

QPR will not go down regardless of what happens today. Their squad is probably as good as Everton's on paper but they're just having trouble settling in at the moment. 12th place finish for them, I reckon.

Absolute tosh.

I may have been exaggerating slightly with my "as good as Everton comment", but I don't think it's ridiculous to predict that QPR will survive. They have much more individual quality than Southampton, Sunderland, Aston Villa, Stoke City, Norwich City, Wigan and Reading so I think they're going to be alright come May.

And there's one player that makes up some of the individual quality I was talking about.

Junior Hoilett scores to make it 1-0.

I can't speak for others but what I thought was tosh was the on par with Everton comment. I agree with you actually. They have some really decent individuals on paper but paper never won a football match.

I dont think there is any doubt that they have enough quality players to stay up, but unless they sack Hughes they will get relegated.

Hughes is gash.

But the players a team has on paper eventually come up with the goods on the grass. A squad that contains Julio Cesar, Jose Bosingwa, Fabio, Stephane Mbia, Samba Diakite, Park Ji-Sung, Adel Taarabt, Esteban Granero, Shaun Derry, Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora cannot and will not go down. If they need a change of manager to sort out the problems they are currently having then so be it, but that squad is good enough to stay up with a decent manager in charge.

It's not like they're strapped of cash and aren't willing to spend in January if things don't improve.
